Chad attended the University of Minnesota and earned his degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on exercise science. While at the U of M, he was active in many organizations, including the rugby program.
After graduation, Chad worked along side Minnesota's top high school and college athletes in hockey and track and field. Looking towards furthering his education, Chad decided to pursue a career in Muscle Activation Techniques.
Chad Vogel is one of only four MAT Certified Specialists in Indiana, and is working towards his MAT Mastery Certification.

Chad attended Eastern Illinois University and earned his degree in Exercise Science. While at Eastern, Chad was active in many organizations including the Student Wellness Association to which he served as president for two years. It was at that time that he became certified as a professional personal trainer.
After graduation Chad moved to Chicago and worked out of Deerfield's Multiplex Health and Fitness Club (former home of the Chicago Bulls). Studying with some of Chicago's most elite trainers helped him prepare for his future in the field.
In 1999, Chad moved to Indianapolis to work at the National Institute of Fitness & Sport (NIFS). While at NIFS he built a reputation as a leader in the industry. In 2000, Chad was offered a job at the world famous Cooper Institute of Aerobic Research. Having laid the groundwork for a promising career in Indianapolis Chad decided to stay in the Midwest. That decision paid off.
In 2003 Chad became Indiana's first Muscle Activation Techniques Certified Specialist, and was selected by the Indianapolis Monthly as one of Indy's Top Trainers. He has appeared in nearly every media outlet in Indianapolis, and works with many of Indy's most well known professional athletes and individuals. He served two seasons with the Indiana Pacers, and is currently in his third season as the MAT Specialist to the Indianapolis Colts.
